Heritage and Interactive Technology Workshop - 31st January 2018

Posted on Jan 09 2018

Tyne & Wear Heritage Forum have teamed up with Newcastle University research group Open Lab to look at the possibilities new digital technology can bring to how we interact with our heritage.

Last year's collaboration on the "Talking Statues" project at Saltwell Park was implemented with great success and proved that making heritage accessible doesn't have to cost the earth.

This workshop will introduce the research Open Lab are working on at the moment with a focus on how heritage and community groups might be able to use apps and tools to get people involved in heritage.

Date and Time : Wednesday 31st January 5pm

Location : Urban Sciences Building, 1 Science Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 5TG.

The workshop is free of charge but please RSVP to to secure a place.
