The Discovery Museum will be hosting a fabulous new exhibition "Newcastle's Motorcycling Pioneers Part 1" which will take place over 3 weeks from 28th August-19th September 2016. The opening event will consist of 200 escort motorcycle riders crossing the Tyne Bridge who will then make their way to the VIP opening of the exhibition at the museum at 10.30.
There will be talks on the weekends about James R Moore as well as talks from the police over the 3 weekends which anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Pictured are some fantastic scenes from Jim Moore's Haymarket Shop.
Volunteers are needed on August 28th to help load and unload vintage motorcycles belonging to Beamish Museum and also if you want to bring your own and be part of the 200 escort then please contact Barry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
