Tyne & Wear Heritage Forum appoint Project Manager
|Posted on Jun 26 2016|
TWHF have now completed the appointment process for the project management consultant. This project management contract attracted a good deal of interest with a number of tenders submitted from organisations as far away as London, as well as those closer at hand in the north east.
We are delighted to announce that following the interview process we have been able to appoint Kim Stabler of Stabler Heritage as our project manager. Kim is someone with an excellent track record in heritage conservation work and extensive experience of assessing the significance of heritage assets and in advising on managing change to those assets in an appropriate manner. Kim managed and wrote the bid for the successful Heritage Lottery Fund Round 2 submission for Hylton Castle, Sunderland for the regeneration of a medieval castle gatehouse as a community led facility, an initiative with which many of you will be familiar. We are really lucky to have been able to appoint such a well-qualified and experienced project manager. One of Kim's references reported that they felt: ‘we would struggle to find anyone as good’.
Kim is currently working on the project design for HeritageACT! and will be getting in touch to organise a meeting for all groups who have expressed an interest in being involved in a HeritageACT! project in their area.
